Share 1 Data On All Devices.
Share 1 Data On All Devices:ETISALAT.
Do you use more than one device to get onto the internet? Do you run separate data plans on each of your devices? If yes, then the Multi-Device Plan is just the convenience you need! With this plan, you can buy a data plan on your smartphone, and draw on data for up to four more devices. So, for example, you can have the following devices all on the same multi-device plan:
- A smartphone for calls and browsing
- A tablet for heavier browsing and downloads
- A USB modem for connecting your laptop
- A camera with a SIM slot for instant uploads onto sites like Instagram and Tumblr
- A router to leave at home for the family
- You won't need to hotspot their devices - thus saving on battery life
- You can buy larger data plans – getting more data at a lower unit cost
- You can use different devices in different locations and always be sure of internet connectivity
Your main smartphone should act as your PRIMARY device, which you'll use to set up the other SECONDARY devices. If you normally subscribe an Etisalat BlackBerry Plan, it is advisable to keep your primary SIM in your BlackBerry phone.
Then, you’ll need new, non-activated SIMs in order to complete the process, which must be data SIMs. Please take note of your PUK from the SIM card frame.
Note: If any of the additional devices are voice-enabled, they will ring once calls are made to your number!!

Acer launches 8 touchscreen products
MANILA -- Acer on Friday launched eight new touchscreen-based products equipped with the latest Windows 8.1 operating system.
Manuel Wong, general manager of Acer Philippines, said the latest products have better features as a result of the continuous innovation programs of the company.
“They are thinner, better features and longer battery life,” he boasted.
Anchored on its worldwide campaign “A Touch More,” the latest Acer products play a big emphasis in the growing “touch" product category.
Acer has raised the bar with the Aspire S7-392 by making it a mere millimeter thicker than its predecessor, boosted processing power with fourth-generation Intel Core processors and the introduction of the “Acer Purified Voice” to lessen the noise for voice recognition and voice over Internet protocol applications. It has an aluminum frame that is designed to withstand the rigors of mobile computing.
The Aspire S3, also called the little brother of S7, comes in a slim and stylish design complemented by strong enhancements led by the fourth genration Intel Core chips to enhance the productivity of a user in office or personal requirements.
For users who enjoy using laptops and tablets, the Aspire R7-571 has the “Ezel” hinge that enables the versatile machine to transform from a normal notebook into a tablet by simply reversing the screen with its pad mode, or as a digital drawing board.
For massive gaming requirements, Acer has also boosted the computing power of the V3-772 with a fourth generation Intel Core chips up to 2 terabit of storage space or 1 terabit through the 256 gigabit (GB) solid state drive (SSD), or through the AcerCloud for bigger storage space. Furthermore, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760M delivers high quality visual applications along with Dolby Home Theater sound system for quality sound.
In mobile handheld devices, Acer introduced the Iconia W4 that can be used both as a fun and a productive tool in terms of viewing, creating and editing documents while a user is on the road or rushing in-between vital appointments. The Iconia also has the “Zero Air Gap” technology, the touch capacity and liquid crystal display (LCD) screen designed to provide superior clarity.
In the desktop category, users can take a crack at the All-in-One (AIO) personal computer like the Acer Aspire ZC602 and the famous Acer Aspire U5-610. The Aspire ZC602 is a versatile computing machine that does not only deliver basic computer needs at home but also has user-friendly features such as the “Acer Remote” to enable a user to connect with other Windows 8 mobile devices.
Meanwhile, the Aspire U5-610 delivers better daily computing performance with its Intel Core processors and 16 gigabit of DDR3 1600 megahertz synchronous dynamic random-access memory that can boost the performance to 15 percent and load any application twice faster.

Can a Smartphone Do What Your Doctor Does? (ABC News)
“The doctor will
see you now” may no longer be a phrase you hear only at your physician’s
office, as a small but growing number of mobile apps hit the market
offering doctor calls via smartphones.
Starting
on Tuesday, the app Doctor on Demand will allow people in 15 states to
talk live via video-conference to a licensed physician for $40 per call.
That follows the app American Well, which debuted in October and offers
virtual doctor visits by phone for $49 in 44 states.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z
After some missteps in the past, Sony has finally produced a tablet
worthy of competing with the best Android tablets on the market. Sony
has long left behind the folding design of the Tablet P in favor of a more standard form factor that Pocket-Lint says is "incredibly thin and is sure to wow when you pass this tablet to a friend." USA Today says the Tablet Z is a
"good-looking, premium-feel machine." The display resolution may not be as high as the Nexus 10, but CNET finds "there's little difference in actual noticeable clarity and even in games," with PC Mag
calling the display "incredibly crisp and detailed."
One area where the Tablet Z fosters mixed opinions is battery life, where some are happy, and Engadget says "the tablet lasted through a day of moderate use" but suggests carrying a charger with you if you plan to use it for daily activities. There is no shortage of Android tablets on the market, especially affordable ones, but Sony has done so well with the Xperia Tablet Z Laptop Magazine calls it "one of the most compelling Android tablets yet."

Fitness Device:Smart Pedometer
The hardest part of exercise might not be the physical part, but getting
yourself motivated to do it at all. The Striiv clears that hurdle
beautifully by not only logging your walking, running, and climbing
activity, but by giving you challenges and letting that activity earn
you badges, play special games on the attractive color touchscreen, and
even donate to charity by redeeming the "energy points" you've
accumulated. It might not have the robust metrics of other smart
pedometers like the Fitbit Ultra or the Nike+ Fuelband, but it's certainly a lot more fun.

ASUS PadFone Mini 7-inch tablet / 4.3-inch phone combo launches in Taiwan
Confirming the rumors and leaks from engadget.com, ASUS has revealed its new PadFone Mini in Taiwan. A smaller alternative to the existing PadFone Infinity -- a line which CEO Jerry Shen tells us will reach the US -- it combines a 4.3-inch phone with a 7-inch tablet dock. Confirming the leaked details, it's packing a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8226 CPU and 1GB of RAM inside, with a 960 x 540 screen on the phone and 1,280 x 800 resolution panel on its tablet. It has 16GB of storage and a microSD slot for expansion, with Android 4.3 software aboard plus 1,500 mAh and 2,200 mAh batteries in the phone and tablet, respectively.
As Shen mentioned during our interview, there are also some special tweaks like the Hi-Light "Owl Mode" and high speed continuous shooting aboard. The specs are a step down from the higher-end Infinity series, but as a result ASUS can offer both parts for an off-contract price of NT$ 11,990 ($405). This one is still only planned for release in China, Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia, but its unique combination of portability and price might make it worth bringing to the US as well.

Best of 2013 Apps.
11. Fakeblock. The simple "musical" app was a major storyline on the fourth season of Arrested Development, and I had to laugh and download when it became a reality. You're a genius, George Michael.
10. iMadeFace. Yeah, all you do is make faces, but sometimes that's all you need.
9. They Might Be Giants. The two Johns have a satisfying app that showcases new songs, rarities and more.
8. Film Alphabets. I'm still stuck on a bunch of the questions in this game, based on Stephen Wildish's popular illustrations.
7. Reel Estates. Finally, there's an app that does a good job of mapping locations of popular movies. Next time you're in a strange town, whip it out and you may learn that, say, a David Lynch flick took place there.
6. Nametrix. Even if you aren't looking for baby names you'll likely be sucked in by this fascinating name app that gives the popularity, career choices and even political party affiliations associated with thousands of names.
5. PRX Remix. If you're a fiend for public radio, you should download this app that showcases some of the best stories from This American Life, The Moth and other programs. It's ideal for my long commute.
4. Watch TCM. If you can't spend an hour away from Turner Classic Movies without missing it, now you don't have to. This app lets users stream the East and West Coast feeds of the cable channel.
3. CC: Stand-Up. Comedy Central's standup comedy app is packed with videos from every comedian I can think of, many of which are new to me. It's also a useful resource; if I hear a funny person on a podcast, this is the first place I go to learn more.
2. Kickstarter. In a year when Kickstarter became a reliable way to help artists complete their projects, I was pleased to discover its well-designed app is actually preferable to the website.
1. Say the Same Thing. Those guys from OK Go are masters at creating a viral sensation, and this fun word game has kept me amused for hours. This year it also made headlines as the 50 billionth download from the Apple Store http://www.usatoday.com/story/popcandy/2013/12/06/best-2013-apps/3889613/
